WPIX Morning Show to Highlight Stranger Safety; Rose Brucia Founder, Matthew Barbis will be interviewed

Please tune into the WPIX morning show tomorrow, April 20th around 8:45am to join The Rose Brucia Educational Foundation’s founder & chairman, Matthew Barbis, speak about the importance of discussing stranger safety awareness with your children.

The news segment is the result of the re-opening of the Etan Patz case. Back in 1979, 6 year-old Etan Patz disappeared when he was walking to his school bus stop two blocks from his family’s SoHo loft. It was the first time that Etan walked to his school bus stop. Little Etan was never found and was declared legally dead in 2001.

The NYPD and the FBI have re-opened the case, citing new evidence.
